The Flat Track Invitational Indoor Event, organised by Vintage Spirit Racing, took place in Lyon at the weekend. A first for France and not so much a race, but an event to introduce the discipline to those who might not be familiar with it and giving new riders a chance to ride on the track.
Our man in France, Pierre-Alexandre Treust, repped for 250LONDON and mixed it up with some big names from the sport, like Dimitri Coste, Anthony Brown & Geoff Cain from Team Co-Built, as well as many Supermotard pro riders who rode the Superprestigio, along with amateurs who came to ride fast and turn left!
Pierre gave us the lowdown on the event from his POV...
“The track was particularly soft with a lot of humps that were formed throughout the sessions! We had mid Gas on Friday night from 7pm to 10:30 pm. On Saturday there were 105 drivers it was really intense! We had a good laugh and we were able to make the adjustments on the bike for the next season of the DTRA! My Suzuki 650 is ready to strike on English soil! It was a great event and a great pleasure to wear the colours of 250LONDON.”
